The Berkeley Chief Digital Officer (CDO) Program offers a comprehensive curriculum that places an emphasis on digital innovation and strategy, its tools and techniques, and strategic views of how organizations can handle, manage, analyze, and interpret data while keeping in mind technology architectures and the business landscape. Participants will develop advanced digital acumen, craft future business strategies, and drive necessary digital change even through crises as well as learn how to identify and prioritize opportunities for monetization and improve customer experience across all touchpoints.

The Berkeley CDO Program delivers learning that will take your career as a changemaker to the next level. You will learn through interactive sessions by world-renowned faculty and industry experts, case studies, and group and individual exercises as well as live interactions with global leaders. Supplementing the core modules, you can choose to specialize in specific areas by selecting two electives from a range of topical modules in line with your learning and career goals.

Across the Berkeley CDO Program core modules experience, you will complete a Capstone Project. You will apply program learnings to a real-world challenge to deliver an actionable solution, while being guided by faculty through group coaching sessions and high-touch fireside chats.
At the end of the program, you will submit a presentation that covers the following:

Saikat Chaudhuri is the inaugural Faculty Director of the Management, Entrepreneurship, & Technology (M.E.T.) Program, a flagship dual-degree program in engineering and business at the University of California at Berkeley. He holds the Grimes M.E.T. Chancellor’s Chair at the University, with a joint faculty appointment in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation as well as Management of Organizations groups at the Haas School of Business, along with the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the College of Engineering.
Abhishek Nagaraj is an Assistant Professor in the Management and Organizations (MORS) group at Berkeley Haas. He earned his PhD in Management at the MIT Sloan School of Management in the Technological Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management (TIES) group. He also holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta and a B.Tech in Computer Science from the College of Engineering, Pune (COEP).

Program fee is US$28,000 and covers teaching fees, all academic material, access to online coursework, coffee breaks, lunches, and select dinners. The fee does not include accommodation for in-person module, transport expenses (domestic, international, visa fee, etc), and other expenses not specifically mentioned in the fee.
